How to be Saved

Becoming a Christian is the greatest event in a person's life. Having a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most wonderful

thing in the world. Jesus loves us very much and the desire of His heart is for everyone to believe in Him and walk with Him day

by day.

How does one become a Christian and begin a relationship with Christ?

First realize and admit that you are lost, separated from God by a sinful nature. The Bible teaches that we are all sinners by nature. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Understant that you cannot restore that broken relationship with God by yourself. God is the only One that can bring you in right relationship with Himself. God provided the remedy for our sin by sending His Only Begotton Son (Jesus Christ) into the world to suffer and die for our sins, in our place on the cross. The Bible teaches in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Believe in your heart that God loves you very much and wants to save you by forgiving you of all sin. The Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Repent of your sins, turn from them and accept the sacrifice Christ made on the cross for our sins. The Bible says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Call upon the Lord to save your soul. He will because He loves you and wants you to be His child by faith. Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Thank the Lord for saving your soul and begin living your new life in Jesus Christ.
